Chris Monter Q&A: Tyus Jones Making A National Name For Himself

Tyus Jones, a 6-foot-1 freshman point guard from Apple Valley (MN) High, is receiving plenty of national attention after a strong spring with the Howard Pulley AAU program. Jones will play this weekend in Los Angeles this weekend in the final EYBL event and will travel to Colorado Springs next month for the U.S. 16-and-under national team tryouts. I feel like Myron said he averaged something ridiculous like 25 ppg in that video that was just posted. I'm too lazy to watch it again but around 19 sounds more reasonable. It will be interesting to see how Tyus develops. Really hoping he stays here, obviously.
