I like his confidence. I want a confident, borderline cocky QB. I hope he is as good as his highlight video looks.
 










Big Arm

Looks like he has a nice ball. I like his size to handle and in the pocket. Gives them a young guy to build around after Gray or he is injured. Good battle with Moses for #2. QB looks pretty good with these 3 and Parrish and the Mankato Kid coming.
 


playhard: left ball or right ball? size to handle? In the pocket, playing pocket pool?
 



Haha to be fair to Shortell his WR from the year before at Bishop Meige was Justin McCay who went to Oklahoma.
 


Shortell will not see a down this season, and will not "battle" for #2 with Alipate. Alipate and Parrish will be the back up to Gray. Kill will not waste Shortell's redshirt with two Juniors, a Sophomore, and a red-shirt Freshman on the roster. Unless all four ahead of him go down to injury, Shortell will not play in 2011.
