She's from my high school, the cheerleading factory that is Maple Grove. Not as glamorous as being a football or basketball powerhouse, but there are worse things to be known for....
 

Personally, I give a lot of respect to our spirit squads, as they put in a lot of work to do what they do, giving their time for support of their school. Congratulations to this young woman, and I hope more of our members are recognized in the future.

Elite cheerleaders must be zit-free, stacked blonds with perfect teeth and IQs between 80 and 100. That's all.
 


My favorite part of last nights game was when we went on that 17-2 run that included an alley-oop dunk with a subsequent IU timeout and what does the band and cheer squad do? The MIN NE SO TA cheer. WOrst cheer ever. Everyone went from standing to sitting in about .5 seconds. Thanks guys!!! You rock!!!!
 



Check out some of the dance team members in that thread of pics...especially the brunette and the chick with the curly hair :)

They should have picked a dance team girl, they are much hotter than the regular cheerleaders

I know exactly what you mean. It seemed like every other time we went on a mini-run, we ended up with some dance team/cheer squad show instead of the Rouser. I was really irritated about that. I think they used to over-do the Rouser at hoops games, but last night I think I only heard it at the beginning of the game, during the Tucker ceremony, and at the end. The 17-2 run would have been a perfect time to throw one in.

Couldn't disagree more, to be honest. The dance squad (if I'm thinking of the right people) is just universally horrible. I'm not sure the curly-headed girl is on it. I don't want to pick on anybody in particular, but I was sitting on the bench side of the arena and the girls who were facing us were just not very attractive, and I'm pretty sure that's the dance team.

As a member of the pep band I feel the need to come to our defense. We are EXTREMELY limited in what we can and cannot do. The promos OBVIOUSLY take precedence, and by the time Jax Cafe is done with that thing they do there's no time for the Rouser. Also if people, you know, participated in the cheers they might not be such a buzz kill, because that's really not what they're for.

That being said, I was PISSED we did not get the Rouser going after the AMAZING dunk. However, since I am not the director my one man rebellion didn't get noticed.

13,000+ posts on this web actually count when it comes to rating girls? I am guessing Gopher4Life is an expert on internet porn and decorating your parents basement but not on chicks since he probably hasn't had a date in more than 2 decades!

If G4L got within 10 yards of this girl he would break into a cold sweat (or worse). She'd probably run.
 

And I believe that Jmag is correct. The dance team is on my side of the court (team benches). The cheerleaders are vastly superior this year. They may want to cut the entire dance team and start from scratch next year.

It all depends on what group of the dance team you get. There were probably only like 6 or 7 dance team members at the Indiana game that I saw, but there are like 20 on the full squad, at least during football season. The dance team was right in front of our seats for football for 2 quarters, so I can tell you there are several stunners in that group, but I didn't see any of the ones I enjoyed from football season on the court Tuesday night....
 

That may be the case. I'm sure there are more on the dance team than what I saw, but all I'm saying is that the ones I saw were, though surely extremely personable and warm human beings, not great beauties. I'll take issue with the people who are down on the cheerleader in that pic I linked though. She's very cute.
 

Ya, I think the dance team has trotted out the B squad for a few of the hoops games this year.
 

Put a pair of Ugg boots on her because she is ugly.

I agree. All the girls look lovely during the games. My seats are near the cheerleaders. I consider that one of the best benifits of this location.

Why anyone would take time on this forum to belittle the the cheerleaders is beyond me.

Most of the regulars around here have nice senses of humor. I hope it spreads to the rest.

This is the real-life equivalent.

The big picture on the front page makes her look half-deformed, but she looks pretty cute in most of the other pictures.
