Entering Tuesday, Matyas had a 1.61 ERA and opponents were batting .132 off the hard-throwing, right-hander. Matyas gave up the 3 run double to lose the game.
1023 fans enjoyed the game, great atmosphere!! Go bison!!

Thats because Nobody cares about the midweek games this year, they are completely meaningless and thats the way the team has approached them as well. good practice and get the freshman arms some innings, that's about it, was the same when they lost to St. Thomas and SDSU. Because of the crazy non conference season with having to move so many games and then having so many rainouts in California, we have ZERO chance at an at large bid this year and thats been known for months so the only thing that anybody cares about is the Big Ten games, getting into good position to make a run and win the tournament again. I would guess most people like me who follow this team had no idea they even played yesterday. The Big Ten this year is so wide open that we are sitting 2 games from first place, but also only 3 games from dead last.
Big Ten Overall
Team Record Pct. Record Pct.
1. Purdue 10-5 30-13
Michigan State 10-5 27-13
3. Ohio State 9-6 19-18
4. Minnesota 8-7 16-18
Illinois 8-7 17-23
6. Penn State 7-8 25-16
7. Indiana 6-9 25-19
Northwestern 6-9 14-25
Michigan 6-9 14-28
10. Iowa 5-10 16-25

Big Ten definitely only a 1-bid league this year. Sparty had best RPI (#78) among B1G teams, and that was before they lost at home yesterday to WMU. The tournament should be wide open. Gophers have as good of a chance as anyone, if they make it.

Are you that seriously demented that you keep track of where the freaking bus driver for Minnesota went to school? Get brain surgery, fast. Don't wait for a professional, do it yourself.
