Today again has shown that even the healthy, rolling, no issues top teams lose on the road.

Lets take a look:

Pitt, Texas and Notre Dame already today...Kansas, Duke, tOSU and uConn within the last week or so...and many many more.

Take any one of those teams and remove thier starting and back up PGs and any bench 6'10 guy and see how many games they win.

All Im saying is for all the trolls and haters that blow up this board after every lose and post over and over about whatever idiotic thing that pops into their head...please go away.

Good and great teams lose on the road...teams with the troubles that we have had lose a lot more...stop sharing your insight with us like you just discovered that we have issues and might not win a National Title this year.

Yes, they do lose on the road...but not to Indiana and Penn St.

Ok, then you can't lose to Illinois and Virginia at home. I am all for the "winning on the road is tough" mantra if we beat teams we shouldn't beat at home. We have one such win this year against Purdue. If the Gophers simply split these 4 games: Virginia, Illinois, at Indiana, and at Penn State we'd be in fine shape.

Penn State is a decent squad this year capable of beating anyone at home - they have upset a number of good teams and just about took down Ohio State.

The loss at Indiana is inexcusable, we have to find a way to win that game.

Gophers have 3 unexpected W - over UNC, WVU, and Purdue.

Gophers have 4 unexpected L - UVa, Illinois, at IU, at Penn St.

Unexpected?

When, exactly, should Gopher fans expect Tubby's teams to beat a these types of teams?

Year 10?

Unexpected wins at home? Huh? The Gophers should expect to win every single home game. Will they win em' all? Probably not, but it shouldn't too much to ask of a program led by the Lord Tubby the Great to expect to win every home game.

How long has it been since Gophers "won every game at home" if you know?

Unexpected W meaning those teams were rated higher than Gophers at the time.

So MN should not expect to win against teams rated higher than them at the time the game is played? Nice excuse.

Any shred of credibility you had is now gone.

Good teams and coaches expect to beat their opponents.

Point was that Gophers have W a few games that might have been L and L a few that might have been W.

Some of you people are so INCREDIBLY dense that it's hard to imagine.

You dont say?

The point is that you said "expected" to lose. Now you twist it.

Nice try.

Year 4.

When should MN expect to win against Purdue, and WVU FoT? Year 10?

Good teams and coaches expect to beat their opponents.

I defined the words "expected" and "unexpected" because some failed to comprehend.

The Boilers and Mountaineers were favored to W those games but Minnesota did.

Favored? Please.

Just win FoT. Just win.

Year 4, not so much.

When can MN expect to win?

When can MN expect to win?

Not in a year where starting PG goes down with injuries, back-up PG quits, and key reserve C also goes down with injury.

YES the Gophers were underdogs against those 3 teams.

If MN is an underdog, should we expect them to lose?

If MN favored, we should expect them to win - right?

WIN Fot. Just WIN.

Yes to both. They have W 3 times where L was projected. And L 4 times where W as projected.

Please link to last Gopher undefeated season.

Only one of those games listed was a home game... Regardless, I actually expected to win all of those games (and no, I don't always expect us to win).
