I don't know why he wouldn't have done this a long time ago. Always going against the walk-ons and a team manager isn't necessarily the best way to create a competitive environment. It makes sense when you have a true team to go 5 on 5, but we don't have that anymore.

I'm guessing (don't know) that he wanted the young reserves to work with the veteran starters in practice.

Obviously (4 L in a row) it didn't work.

Tubby said their biggest issue going into Canada was communication.
