Remember that in 2004, the Hawkeyes only had 6 yards rushing at the Metrodome.

...is that just 3-4 years ago, we had a rushing offense
that was the envy of most of college football.
Saturday, we couldn't get 7 yards in 4 quarters against
Iowa.
Uff da!

I think the Hogs were down to their #4 or #5 RB that game as they had a lot of dings.

0.2 ypc by Iowa in that 2004 game? Ouch. I hadn't realized it was THAT bad.

The rushing stats are a little tainted by the -23 yards from the QB (sacks). It is still a bad rushing game because nobody is going to pound their chest over 29 gross rushing yards but it is better than 6 net.
I was going to ask how we lost that game and then I saw that we turned it over 4 times and they turned it over 0. Giving up 333 yards passing to Drew Tate doesn't help either but if you avoid turning it over 4 times you win that game.
