I would think that a team could shoot blindfolded better than that. The Gophers were minus 18 from behind the arc and lost by just 3 points. This is the second game on the road where if the Gophers were merely poor from behind the arc instead of abysmal they would have pulled out the victory. How were they in the game against the no.2 team in the nation while not making any shots? They went 24-27 from the line. I don't think many of us expected the Gophers to ever shoot that well from the free throw line this year, it's too bad that performance came in a loss.

I am really concerned about how this team will score going forward unless Rodney, Chip, or Austin really steps up their perimeter shooting.

That's pretty scary boys and girls

Interesting. This is a team that doesn't shoot very well, but can play inside with anyone. One good sign. Free throws.

Slight correction. This is a team that can rebound with anyone. We have an imposing front line but non one you can toss the ball into that is a reliable shooter unless a dunk occurs. Not only do we not shoot outside well, we don't shoot inside that well either. For that reason teams can afford to apply the pressure on the perimeter.

Slight correction...apply perimeter pressure on Hoffarber. Nobody even bothers to guard Nolen, in fact he's invited to throw up a brick every time down the court.
