Additional Scholarship?

Not sure how this works but do the Gophers get an extra scholarship for next year with/if Devoe leaves? I think thats the rule but these things change a lot.

If he does leave, are there any good options to take his spot/scholarship? I know Tubby was a bit handcuffed having only two seniors leaving so he couldn't get a large recruiting class in but if he found a good juco player or maybe another guard he likes but didn't want over Hollins and Coleman it could benefit the Gophs. Sorry if this has been discussed but some of the Devoe threads have 100+ responses and I don't really want to spend 8 hours reading all of them.

Devoe is gone.

We have an additional scholarship to use in 2011-12.

It's similar to last year when Carter, Cobbs, and White ended up leaving at the end of the year, and we ended up with Chip, Oto, and Maverick. We'll have an extra scholarship for next year. This does give Tubby more time though, to try to land a pickup to make up for that scholarship and it's only one....so far.
