I have $20 that says Frank Martin won't be long for K-State. He lucked out last year when Huggy Bear left him with Michael Beasley & Bill Walker. That's why when a school loses a highly successful coach, the next hire should be made with the long term good of the program in mind, not the short term. In my opinion, K-State took the easy way out, hiring Martin out of fear that Beasley and/or Walker would bolt.

A lesson to be learned in the event we ever lose a highly successful coach to another school.

Maybe so, maybe not. K-St has recruited a Top 20 class coming in next year. I think K-St staff will ultimately be successful.
