Not so fast. If they lose, they will drop but not out.
 


The is the problem with the gophers. You get all excited and hope for good things and then they break your heart. Oh well, the season is still young.
 

No way they frop out of the Top 25! Obviously they will drop several spots but at this point in the season rankings are meaningless. The ranking in February and March is all that matters.

This can still be a good team. We all just got our hopes up to high.

We beat N. Carolina and suddenly we are a sweet sixteen team. We forget that Winona and Siena took us to the wire and would probably have beaten us if we had to play in their gym.

We beat N.C. And W. Virginia in close games. Certainly susequent games have shown that N.C., at least, was badly over-rated.

But, both of those teams have the makings of becoming excellent teams and so do the Gophers. We have to get better. That's all.
 

as long as we handle cornell, we should be able to stay top 25., barely
