What I was most impressed with was how Al controlled the tempo of this game. He is a stud with the ball in his hands...he may not finish great but he gets the ball up the court, can drive past most defenders and does an excellent job of distributing the rock.
Next comes our depth, power and finesse inside. Rarely does a team have such power and finesse and the depth to rotate 4 bigs that all have skills and game. I love it when we had Colton at the 4 playing the high center in the zone...steal and score...nice!
Last year I thought we got dictated too by Big ten teams with strong gaurd play and an inside presence...mainly tOSU and MSU and Purdue before the Hummel injury...this year I think we can compete on controlling tempo and style with these teams...and having a much better chance and winning consistently. I think we will destroy some lessor teams if Blake can get off or Devoe has a 20plus night...love this team.
