Lakeville North won the Class AAA volleyball tournamen

Lakeville North won the Class AAA volleyball tournament, defeating Wayzata 25-13, 25-18, 25-13. They are led by Gopher commit Kellie McNeil.

Taylr McNeal looked pretty good for only being a 9th grader I thought. She has already verballed to Minnesota as well.

There was a hitter for Wadena-Deer Creek who could really hit the ball too, I don't remember what her name was, but a lot of their girls seemed younger so they should be good for a while too. They swept #1 Hutchinson for the AA title. They were fun to watch.

#2 Wabasha-Kellogg swept #4 Martin County West for Class A. Wish at least one of the matches would've went more than 3.

Wadena-DC has to be the story of the year.

I saw what was left of the school last July, and for them to go undefeated is great.

I believe Kellie McNeil will be the starting setter for the Gophers next year. The play by the setters has held them back this year. I think Kellie is better than either of the setters we have on the team now.
