The article says Allums was Miss Minnesota Basketball in 2008. I've never heard that name, certainly don't remember that last name as having won Miss Basketball recently. GW will play in the Best Buy Classic at Williams Arena next week.

I think she was a finalist for Miss Basketball. Courtney Boylan from Chaska won in 2008 and is playing at Michigan.

When I think of Miss Basketball, the image of someone playing basketball with a boquet of roses, a sash and a tiara comes to mind. Just thought I would share that with you. I may be going to the exhibition game against UMC this Sunday. I've never gone to a Gophers women's BB game, but I've got a three year old and I've been taking her to games this season.
