I went to my first women's hockey game yesterday. Actually, only my third hockey game ever. My daughter got her membership packet for Goldy's Kids Club, and she was all excited to see Goldy. She liked to show off her Kid's Club T-shirt to people. She's 3, and someone asked her if she wanted to be a hockey player, she said she wanted to be a paleontologist.
Went to the Bell Museum of Natural History before the game (only a block away). The hot dogs at Ridder were better than the ones they had last time I was at Williams. Goldy gave her a puck that was used in the first period of the game. We had a good time, we'll do it again, depending on how the game time matches up with nap time.
Besides, I needed a Gopher victory to cheer for.
