Lindsay Whalen was 5-of-5 from the field to finish with 10 points, five rebounds, and two steals in the USA National Team’s 108-52 win against Senegal on Friday at the 2010 FIBA World Championship in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Whalen played 20 minutes for the USA team, which improved to 2-0 in Pool B Preliminary Round competition. The USA National Team will return to the court on Saturday against France, with the game set to tip off at 8:15 a.m. (CT). The game will be televised live by NBA TV (Direct TV Channel 216), and a live streaming broadcast is also available at www.fibatv.com. Whalen has averaged 6.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.0 assists during the US team’s first two games at the tournament.
