Kevin Love is a double double stud (14 rebs, including 7 offensive), Foye hits another big shot in the 4th, and Carney continues to give us an athletic scoring presence off the bench...and of course Big Al is Big Al - and the best part is McCants got another DNP - Coaches Decision.

McHale seems to have found the right rotations and not as many players are playing out of position. Love's rebounding, particularly offensive--something Al doesn't do well, has really helped. I agree the the McCants' DNP's have benefited the club.

I know this is ridiculous to even discuss (but isn't that what message boards are for?) but the wolves are 10.5 games out of the playoffs with 46 to go. Any chance?

Playoffs? Are you talking playoffs? Playoffs? LOL

Love is really looking strong as of late. He's averaging 12 pts and 11 rbs in the last 7 games (since the New Year), and he's doing it off the bench in just under 23 minutes per game.

Carney is averaging 17 points in his last 4 games, 10 in his last 11. I wonder if Carney gets inserted into the starting lineup sometime in the near future? He's averaging some serious minutes lately.

Just think what could happen if Mike Miller actually starts knocking down a few shots. He hasn't scored in double figures in a single game of these last 7 (six wins) since coming back from his injury, just 4-of-22 from the arc in that time.

We've gotten so accustomed the last couple of years to looking forward to a top draft pick in the lottery, you're almost torn with this recent success as to how it will affect their draft positioning. How sad is that?

Go Wolves! Let's enjoy it while it lasts

Rodney Carney is a stud. Great defender and has continued to improve on the offensive end with more playing time. He and Foye might be the two best players on this team by the end of the year and that's saying something with Big Al on the roster.

Carney's game is very similar to Gerald Green's. Too bad they didn't give Green a chance last year.

I said it was ridiculous, but I can dream, can't I? 29-17 the rest of the way gets them to .500.

I do the same thing. But no, I don't think there is any chance. I do believe they can play .500 ball the rest of year and that would be a big step forward.

Jefferson, Foye, Love, Carney and Miller form a nice nucleus to build on. It's amazing that they have been winning games with Miller ice cold. It's just a matter of time before he gets hot.

Miller and Blake Hoff. (Gophers) are having similar stretches right now. Ice Cold - but still helping the team.

C'mon jamiche, you know better than that. Green was a basketball imbecile. I don't think he's even in the league now.

It's remarkable how much better Foye is playing under McHale.

Completely agree on Green's raw ability, but I don't think he had the attitude. But who knows? Wittman didn't give Carney a chance either; we'll never know if Green was a clone.

I do feel like Carney's more polished though. I recall Green struggling on defense in his few stints last year. Similar to McCants--just wanted to play offense.

They don't have contract rights to Carney next year. McHale has given him an opportunity to become a fairly high profile free agent this summer.

I love Carney, but aside from his athleticism his game is nothing like Gerald Green's.

Green has possibly the lowest bball IQ of any player in the league. He also is a completely indifferent defender which is contrasted by Carney's scrapping on that end of the floor.

Let's not go overboard. Carney is fun to watch and has been a pleasant surprise but let's see what happens in a few weeks after he has been scouted properly throughout the league. His upside is probably similar to what we are seeing now (energy guy off the bench).
