Coach Tubby Smith and the nationally ranked Golden Gophers shocked 17,000 Badger fans at the Kohl Center with a thrilling 78-74 OT win. Lawrence Westbrook’s career-high 29 points (including a clutch three-pointer at the end of regulation) turned a 14-point second half deficit into the biggest win in Tubby’s tenure at Minnesota as the Gophers became only the third Big Ten team ever to win at the Kohl Center.
