Is anyone else in a "mixed marriage?" My wife's family is rife with Hawkeye and Cornhusker fans. I have spent the last fifteen years defending Gopher Sports to these people but when revenue generating sports are vastly behind in quality to theirs it is very difficult. I used to be able to rely on wrestling and the basketball programs. Wrestling has let Iowa overtake them and the BB programs don't finish very far ahead of these programs.
I just thank God that my wife is an Iowa State Cyclone, not a Hawkeye.

I know, but my parents are deceased so they are the only grandparents my kid has. Got my work cut out for me.
