Gopher Invite - VB

Gophers opened up with an easy win against Denver on Friday (8/27). They play Stony Brook at noon today and then their toughest match of the weekend will be against Marquette at 7 pm on Saturday. With Dixon, Wittman, Gibbemeyer, and Love the Gophers have a very physical, imposing front line. The question mark will be passing and ball control, especially after losing Hailey Cowles to her knee injury. Prior to this evening's game the Gophers will unveil the Final Four banner from last season.

Gophers looked pretty solid first three games. Hopefully they can continue this solid play into the next three tournaments. Looking forward to a pretty good year.
