We were all worried about the end zones matching the seats.

We were all happy there were bricks being added to the walls, last minute.

After the scrimmage/stadium opening, we were convincing each other that the only reason the band wasn't loud was because it was the alumni band and the real thing would blow the lid off the place.

I was sure Hayo Carpenter was about to take the Big 10 by storm.

We were gushing over the food choices, but were sure the long lines at the scrimmage would fade quickly as the staff figured things out.

We also...

...could hardly wait for the new 'ski U mah' cheer

...were counting on the continued implosion of the Wisconsin football program

72 being too optometrist, 6 being too pessimistic. 92% thought we would beat Wisconsin. I thought the coach would be let go if he failed to win a rivalry game again.

A year ago Loon was demanding that Brewster and Maturi be fired and that Maturi was only interested in money.:p

One year ago, people were saying its going to get cold in that Stadium come Novemeber. Then we had the best weather of the year at the Illinois game.

after Reusse wrote an article ripping the Gophers. Look's like I'm going to have to make and hang up more signs on the johns like the air force game. Sad thing is Reusse probably enjoys seeing the attention he get's as he commented about the signs on his radio and the Sports show TV show last year. One year from now Reusse will be ripping the Gophers again we can pretty much bank on that.

A year ago some people were talking about how Jedd Fisch was a young coaching genius who would have the offense dominating and with his NFL ties all these top recruits would want to come here. We know how that turned out.

ahh a year ago at this time I was getting drunk in the tailgate lot and thinking how good it feels to be acting like a college student again. That is until the next morning and my hangover reminded me I'm not 21 anymore.

- The combination of a thread topic involving the stadium + Seantrel Henderson caused the GopherHole website to temporarily go down.
- We were all armchair meteorologists trying to figure out if it would rain the evening of September, 12 2009.
- We are exhausted by the blah, blah, blah surrounding Greg Paulus.

Nate Tripllet was a big question mark as a starter.

Man, that Ski-U-Mah chant would work if the PA announcer would shut the hell up after he says it just once.

I talked to a dude with an ear piece at the scrimmage about concessions....no cash registers, but they changed all the prices so they either end in .00 or .50. No more 3.75 + 1.50. At the scrimmage, the lady had to look up the price of a hot dog so I doubt it will make a difference. Please memorize!

Didn't the Ski U Mah chant start from here?
