I was at the scrimmage today and didn't see him out there? did i just miss him?

Anyone know why Spencer didn't play? I saw him later signing autographs, in uniform, but was looking for him in the game and I don't believe he ever played. Injured?

He was dinged up. I saw him running 40s (not 40 ozs, unfortunately) on the sideline shortly before the scrimmage started.

I saw Beal on the sideline this morning. Even though it means absolutely nothing, he definitely looks the part

Don't know this for sure: if a player in not eligible to play, can he even participate in a "public" scrimmage? Royston and Carufel didn't play in the 2008 fanfest scrimmage. Might be an NCAA thing.

Just guessing here, but maybe transfers arent allowed on the 105, meaning they cannot participate until classes start. That is if he isnt already taking classes, if he is, then I have no idea.

Transfers are allowed to practice. He has been practicing all camp. I think as soon as players are enrolled they are permitted to practice.

My guess for why we didn't see Beal is because as a transfer he will be on the scout team this fall. The scrimmage was primarily the 1st and 2nd team playing with the third team getting a little action. We'll have to wait until next spring to see Beal running with the 1's and 2's.
