OK. I went with 2 tix for the Gold Package. Section 215. BUT I better not be surrounded by a bunch of fans from the opposing team. Last game I went to was against Ohio State at the Dome. I was completely surrounded by drunken, obnoxious bucknut fans. It was a disgusting experience.

One of which was local golf "legend" Lumpy H., who actually got himself ejected from the stadium for trouble in our section. He was hammered and got into a tussle with a 75 year old Gopher fan. THAT was disgusting. I know he was not an OSU alumnus, but his dad was.
 

I'm trying to talk a few people in getting tickets with me so hopefully we have a bunch of fans in that area!!
 


MINI-PACKS & STUDENT SEASON TIX LEFT.

Mini-Packs(Tix returned by visiting teams) & Student season tickets are all that remain. 2000 season tickets are reserved for Freshmen & transfers, about 2000-2500 season tickets still available for under grad & grad students, according to Gopher Ticket Office. Call them up, 612-624-8080, tell 'em John sent you, it will get you nothing except Tix. :)
 

I bought two "Maroon Pack" tickets this morning. Would have preferred the Gold pack but my sister's wedding is the same day as the Penn St. game. I'll be watching that at a sports bar in a tux.

I would've thought your sister would be more considerate to your Gopher fandom than to schedule her wedding on a game day! Jeez, some people. :) I thought about the Maroon package, but I wanted to see a night game (Northern Illinois) and also thought Penn State could be a really good game. I also heard Penn State fans are classy, so even if there are a bunch of them there, it shouldn't be as bad as my Ohio State experience.
 

Section 215

I can confirm that the top 1/3 of section 215 is indeed the visiting fan section. I will say, however, that it was rarely full of visiting fans last year.
