Is it patience or his the job been formally offered to people, can anyone confirm Applewhite and Heuple turning it down? Jim Chaney?

We know for now Dunbar is still on the payroll. It was never released, did Meyer get the same deal?

Are we done paying Mason? Monson?

I'm not really concerned about the name as long as they can coach. The only OC in the Pac-Ten I can name off the top of my head is Norm Chow at USC. The SEC, Gary Crouton at LSU. I follow college football pretty closely and I can't name a ton of names the are great OC's.

Ha. That's how you knew that Norm Chow coaches at "USC," that Gary "Crouton" is at LSU, and that Phil Meyer was on a one-year contract.

Sorry on the Chow thing UCLA is right, used to be at USC.

dpodoll68, are you 100% sure he had a 1 year contract?

All assistants are on one year contracts.

We are not on the hook for Meyer, as he was year-to-year.

Not the money; more likely the losses and the need for a commitment to staying here for "X" number of years.

Seeing the job as a one year "stepping stone" to another job seems to piss off Brewster to no end. Quite rightly actually.
