Most normal rules of engagement of life get tossed out the door when the urgency of getting on in life taking adult reponsibilities doesn't exist. I suspect Jeff does not need to get a job and has the flexibility of using one year of eligibility any way he chooses. He is not going to play pro so that doesn't enter the equation either. The family probably thinks its cool that they play together for a year.

It doesn't mention whether he is a walk on or scholarship player. It would seem odd from the team's perspective if they took an average player for just one year on a scholarship, though. I am guessing he is walking on.

Good point Holy Man. I would imagine MJ has saved a few bucks for his kids, even with all his gambling and philandering.

I'm sure MJ should be alright if he has to pick up the tab.
