Maverick, Hollins, Halvorson, and Stark, along with Nolen and colt on the same team, Walker and Devoe on a team, trevor and Blake, rodney alone, Rene hasn't heard from Royce in some time so as of now he isn't on a team.

For these NCAA certified leagues, I've heard of a 2 player, per team maximum (i.e. 2 Gophers per team max)... is this max only with regard to returning players? Or does a league need to get a waiver from the NCAA to have more than 2 enrolled students on a single team? Any limits/rules with regard to incoming frosh that are enrolled in summer school?

Wow that's a lot of players on one team. I think I read it's just that a max of 2 new (scholarship) players can play on a team. Maybe not. It would make more sense that only 2 total players on the roster could play together. I don't really understand why they would put Rodney alone and have that many players together.

it's only for returning players, incoming players, even if they are in summer school, don't count

Pulley said he wanted to put 7-footers Eliason and Iverson on the same team. He will also try to put Hollins and Ahanmisi together with them. More than two incoming players are allowed to be on the same summer league team, according to NCAA rules.

So is Eliason on the first mentioned team with the other 6 gophers?

Salvation Army gym. W. 7th in St. Paul. Parking is mostly on street. Usually there is plenty of seating available.

Crap. Forgot a change of clothes and there's no chance of getting out of the office at a decent hour today... might have to rock the wingtips at the SAL this evening.

I may need a drink in between games.

I take it Devoe, Rodney and Mo didn't play last night...?

Looks like tonight should be a good one-

Errol Carlstrom Playaz-Eric Starks (walk-on from Grand Rapids), Blake Hoffarber and Trevor Mbakwe

Pat Madison Magic-Al Nolen, Colton Iverson, Maverick Ahanmisi (freshman), Elliott Eliason (freshman), Austin Hollins (freshman) and Oto Osenieks (freshman)

123Print.com-Mo Walker (freshman), Devoe Joseph

Sabes Foundation-Rodney Williams - http://www.startribune.com/sports/gophers/blogs/Gold_in_the_Barn.html

Gopher fans will get their first look at the 2010 recruiting class Tuesday night when the Pat Madison Magic play the Errol Carlstrom Playaz at 7:00 p.m. USC football recruit Seantrel Henderson highlights the nightcap as the Sabes Foundation opens their season against King Tutt's Fortress.

Wofford's Jamar Diggs scored 24 of his 37 points in the second half, reminding the fans why he almost led Wofford to an upset over Wisconsin in the NCAA tournament. - http://communityhoops.blogspot.com/2010/06/fish-house-and-123printcom-open-miller.html

Correct... Carlos Emory is also listed on that team (123Print.com), but wasn't there. Nice player to watch.
