Minnesota win and they NCAA Bound. let go Gophers. It 3-0 Minnesota right now.
 

Good start, Kvansnicka and Knudson back to back doubles in the first and some nice two out hitting in the second plus some shaky Iowa defense and Gophers up 3-0, although they left the bases loaded but O Shea did hit a rocket to end the inning.

Issakson struggling in the third with back to back walks but he picked off the leadoff single and escapes without any damage.

We need to keep added a run here and there since we've seen how no lead is safe in this tourny.

I would think maytas is doubtful to pitch today so we need at least 6 from Issakson.
Why are we the visitors, we should be home team in both games, don't like this rule at all, we've earned the right to be home team.
 

Wow, really stupid play by Hankenmeyer to get picked off like that after a single, chalk it up to freshman mistake but with Kvasnicka and Knudson due up, probably cost us a run at least.
 




The rout is on. 13-1 Gophers. 1 out, runner at 2nd. top of 8th.
 



Did anyone see the foul by Kvasnicka that was caught by his father...while being interviewed on the B10 network? Pretty cool.
 



Things are getting a bit out of hand at this point. Kind of feel bad for the Iowa kids because last year the Gophers went through the inevitable fatigue that going through the loser's bracket brings against Indiana and now the Hawkeyes are going through the same thing this year.

Pretty clear Iowa is out of gas at this point. Still, need to get these next six outs before we all can breathe easy and savor the title.

That's why going 2-0 (or 3-0 if you are seeded 3-6) is important. It is always easier to win a tourney through the winners bracket.

Absolutely. While Iowa was busy trying to figure out how they would be able to pitch for nine innings in this game, the Gophers started their normal no. 3 in Isaakson and were able to just roll as they normally would for game three of a series.
 

Bottom of 9th, Error by Minnesota. Iowa with a runner on 1st.
 

Gophers 1 out away from the big ten tourney title.
 


That it. Minnesota win the big 10 tourney title. we heading to the NCAA tourney.
 

Congrats to coach Anderson and the guys for sweeping the Big Ten titles (regular season and tournament) and making it to another NCAA Tournament!!!!:clap::clap::clap:
 

Nice job Gophers! Let's make some noise at the NCAA's and make a run to the Super Regionals. :)
