Probably not given the circumstances. Elliot Williams was allowed to play immediately after transferring from Duke to Memphis because his mother was sick. This is a very similar situation.

I would believe that Paul will be allowed to play this season if he wants to. I have no idea what his degree/career aspirations are for the next college he attends, but if he is going for a 2+/- year Masters degree perhaps he would prefer to sit out a season and be with his family and play next year? Who knows.

I would love for Paul to end up in Loyola...I go to most Youngstown State games and I would love to see Paul play in person again...I would leave the YSU gear at home at wear my Minnesota colors with a sign for Mr. Carter....go to the Horizon League, Paul!!!
