Is there a contingency plan for Mbakwe's scholarship

Unfortunately the trial is in June, so the Gophers still don't know if Trevor will be playing next year. What is the Gophers contingency plan if Trevor doesn't return? Do the Gophers just bank the scholarship for 2011 or are there some better options.

I doubt they have had conversations with anyone and said "Well, if Trevor actually ever goes to trial and is convicted....there's always a place for you here at Minnesota."

If Trevor plays, great.....if not - maybe a walk-on gets a scholly for a year. July is kind of late in the process to be able to bank on a definite contingency - although if it happens I'm sure they will work on something.

Man it is hard to believe how long this has hung on. I hope this is resolved soon. Either way, it is time to bring this to resolution. I hope to see both Royce and Trevor in uniform next year.
