Lets hope Tubby doesn't do something stupid and try to land a 3 star point gaurd because we didn't get joseph. We still have the best defensive/distributing pg in the big ten in Al nolen, rising star in Devoe, and a promising Cobbs. Instead, lets get Royce to blow Jared Sullinger's socks off next year and do the right thing by getting him to play bball again.

Noreen is a project and we don't need another PG unless Cobbs leaves. The only player left that can help us win next year is Royce.

3 star players rank between Top 75 and Top 150.

Al Nolen was 2 star recruit in 2007. Not bad, eh?

Alright well thats great FOT. Fact is, NO more point guards, we don't need them.

Gophers have 3 PG now plus Allen as walk-on in Dec 10 or Jan 11.

Exactly my point. No need for anymore this year anyways. Once Al leaves next year and Devoe maybe plays SG we will need one, but for now there is no need.

Agree!!! Agree!!

Just remember, CJ was GOING to be an UPGRADE from our current crop of PGs. It woulda, coulda been nice if he ran our offense BUT we have guys that can handle as long as they are staying put and qualifies. Give the scholly to RW if he wants back in or to someone on next year's class.

If Cobbs comes back, fine. But if he leaves, they simply have to get a PG, taking whoever they can. We simply cannot go into a season with Devoe as the only sure thing. If AN then didn't get eligible, we'd be screwed.

Agreed.

The coaching staff must have some concerns about if Cobbs (a 3-star, espn grade of 87) will return, if so they will be working out point guards over the next several days.
