Enough is enough. They don't know how cold it is going to get. They have been wrong on the last 3 storms when they have terrorized us with winter storm warnings.

You're right, but we have ourselves to blame. Everytime they look weather is the most imporant thing to local viewers! That's why the weather segment gets longer and longer and "weather" sneeks into the news segment itself!

Years ago Bel Jensen was on Saturday Morning Sports Talk and said something on the order of the accuracy of a forecast went down by "15 %" for "each day out". She said they were going to a five day forecast because viewers demanded it, even if the accuracy wasn't there. She said that some stations were going to a 7-Day forecast even though it was a crapshoot and they'd probably be forced to do the same.

It maybe true that they can't accurately forecast the weather for the coming week, but they do, beyond doubt, know what it will be in 100 years. Goofy. Just goofy.
