I've read a few media reports that are very positive, but would love to hear a report from a fan's perspective. I lived in Mpls when the Twins went indoors and, after the initial novelty, most of the people I knew hated it (of course these were the same folks who hated the Dome for football, so there you go).

Who's been there? Report back. Also, my nephew and brother in the TC are huge Twins fans and we are thinking of trying to get to a family rivalry Brewers-Twins game. Even possible this year?

You're question is valid. I have lower deck seats down the 1st base line in right field. The stadium overall is AWESOME. And outdoor baseball rocks. However, I can't see the extreme right field corner, and given the angle, I'm sure there are another couple thousand lower deck seats that can't see it either. Same goes for the 3rd base line. That's clearly gonna be a knock on the stadium in the future. Of course, the scoreboard is great, so you should see everything there IF they show the replay.

All in all, Big win, because the stadium has some 'good quirks' as well (I'm really close to the action, the angled outfield seats are about a million times better than the dome). It's great. REALLY great. But it ain't perfect.

I hated the dome, so this is a small price to pay.

Final grade: B+++++ or A-----.

I'll take it.

Got into see one of the exhibition games. Our tickets were up in the nosebleeds but the view is fantastic. Especially if you're sitting on the third base side, the higher up you sit the better view of downtown. For someone that grew up with baseball in the dome, I kept thinking I was watching a video game. The only knock on the nosebleeds is that it's pretty damn cold up there. It was a really nice sunny day but with the canopy overhead and the wind gusting we were a little cold. Not complaining, just sayin'. On the flip side, we went down to the first level to meet up with some friends who had prime seats 10 rows back from third base. They had gotten sunburnt by the 7th inning.

Didn't get a chance to try any of the food or walk around much. I wish I had, some of the food stands looked great although I've heard mixed reviews from places like Hrbek's.

It's Target Field, not Target Stadium.

It should also be referred to as a ballpark not a stadium.

Ah Hah! Finally I've got you pegged. You're that small-minded, bitter jerk of an editor I won't write for anymore.

How on earth will they make a profit with all these cash registers????? I just don't understand.

Tickets for the Brewers-Twins series can be had. You will pay a premium but it should be a fun series. Capacity is only 40,000 so there are no bad seats. Make the trip.

I was at the opener on Monday and the "ballpark" was fantastic. The "game day experience" could not have been better. My son and I have 20 game partial season tickets and we couldn't be happier about it.

However, the great untold secret about Target Field is that you can end up in some bad seats if you aren't careful. On Monday we had two of them high up in the left field bleachers in Section 331 (not our season tickets). From there we could not see the warning track and outfield fence from the left field foul pole out to center field, and we did not have a good view of the big scoreboard. From what I have seen and read, obstructed views of the outfield and scoreboard are common in the left field and right field bleacher seats.

The good news is that is that if you don't mind standing for awhile you can get a great view of the the game from any angle you want in the main course, the upper concourse, and the portion of the middle concourse from 3rd base to center field. During Monday's game we had great views of the game from six or seven different spots in all three concourses.

I share a season ticket package with my brother and some friends. This was my second game after an exhibition game.
My opinion? Fabulous. I love the place. I grew up watching games at the Met and I am so happy to back watching Baseball outside.

I went yesterday for the first time. I took the afternoon off and road my bike to the stadium. I haven't been sure about the look of the ball park from the outside, but once inside I found it both impressive and interesting. They used an awful lot of geometry very creatively to put 40,000 seats in a small space. My friend and I wandered around quite a bit and sat in different sections. Our seats were on the first base side lower deck but we spent some time in the bleachers and, even with some partially obstructed views, I don't think there's anyplace in the park where I wouldn't sit. The architects, the Twins and Hennepin County built a great facility. To be able to ride my bike to an outdoor ball game on a sun soaked afternoon was, as the commercial says, priceless.

I hope they do the same thing for the Vikings.

Ridding bikes is the perfect choice for my group as well. Blue sky, bleacher seats, shut-out. Not many better things to do in the afternoon.

I went yesterday, and I am going tonight and next Wednesday. I loved Kuebel's diving catch.
