96 Team Tourney?

I dont think that a 96 team NCAA Basketball tourney would be good. There would be to many games, and obscure team and the formatting will be messed up. Does anyone know the chances of this happening?

Yeah, this is the first I've heard any discussion on this, too. I'm not sure where he's getting that from.
 

Would anyone here be willing to compile a list of pros and cons if something this out-of-the-box were to come to pass?
