has anyone seen the short movie 9. a feature-length version by tim burton starring: elijah wood, john c. riley, jennifer connelly, crispen glover, martin landau and christopher plummer.
per wikipedia: a group of sapient rag dolls living in a post-apocalyptic existence find one of their own, 9 (elijah wood) who displays leadership qualities that may help them to survive.
sounds intolerable, but the trailer (http://www.apple.com/trailers/focus_features/9/large.html) is intriguing.
