That is correct. It should surprise no one that we have not beaten any Final Four teams in the non-conference since then. And the Big 10 teams that have made it since (MSU in 2005 and 2009, OSU 2007 and Illiniois 2005) all won each game they played against the Gophers.

Perhaps as applicable a question would be "which #1 seed", which would be Louisville last year (I think).

I was just going to say that we almost beat one last year when we defeated Louisville. Could have made it two years in a row, and we still have a chance to have beaten half of them this year if MSU wins. Pretty impressive.
