Am I reading that right!??!

23-9 and they are a 2 seed???

What am I missing (haven't paid attention to them this season)
 

It seems like nobody wants those 2 seeds lately (cough cough), but boy that just doesn't seem right. Seems like there are two other teams in their CONFERENCE (Nova and Pitt) that deserve it more than them.

They have a lot of talent, but are wildly inconsistent.

It's the conference and the schedule. They are playing in the Big East Tournament's championship game right now.

Georgetown was the *** 8 *** seed - in the Big East Tourney. No matter how tonight goes, their seed will be considerably better in the NCAA tourney. It's a damn good conference.
 

RPI around 7 or 8 and winning the highest ranked Conference Tourney...not a big mystery.

Many good wins but, that is a 2 seed?

They played the #1 ranked schedule of ALL teams in Div 1...plus they beat Duke and if they win their tourney, they'll deserve it...
 

It doesn't matter much to me whether Georgetown is a 2 seed or a 5 seed in the tourney...

...I'm more concerned with Seton Hall, who could wind up the in the tourney, taking away a spot from other bubble teams.
