Entering today, the Gophers had an RPI of 68....Purdue was 10th. Gophers strength of schedule was 55th...
I'm estimating we'll rise up to 57th or so on RPI and 49th or so on SoS.
When does the new RPI come out?
I think its important for the Gophers to have an RPI inside the top 60, should they lose to OSU...They need it be higher than Miss State or Florida.
Illinois' RPI should linger in the 70's after their loss to OSU...
I know the committee is looking at things like record vs the top 50(gophers 5-6) but getting that RPI into the 50's at the start of the day tomorrow is HUGE.
If the Committee sees the Gophers RPI higher than Miss State and Florida, it will be hard to deny them.
