USF beats DePaul 58-49 in first game of Big East Tournament. Georgetown is next for Bulls. They need to beat Georgetown to legitimately get into the at-large conversation.

They were probably toast anyways, but nevertheless it's good to see them flame out right away.

I am so glad they lost. it is gross that with the number of bubble teams there are, that a team like UConn at 7-11 in their conf. gets in the discussion of NCAA. see you in the NIT, Huskies!!!!

An amazing stat from tonight's game...all 59 points came from either inside the paint, or from the free-throw line. Something I've never seen before.
