Or at least a pretty cheap place. Around Dinkytown though I am just wondering because I am going to the Wiz Khalifa concert on tuesday and I dont wanna spend too much on parking. I would probably be in minneapolis for awhile. 6+ hours chillin with friends before and after, and I dont wanna get a ticket for parking.
Do they leave parking ramps open all night or anything?

Thirteen years ago (when I last lived downtown) I knew of every secret/free spot in the city. There were tons of small-pockets here and there. Now, I have no idea. I'm guessing all secret spots are looooong gone. Sorry and good luck.

Oak St in Stadium Village and near abouts has very few free parking spots (at least when I lived there 5 years ago). You might want to start your long search there.

Try lot C79. Its just southeast of Oak Street parking ramp.
Worked for parking for 4 years, haven't heard of anyone working a shift there for a year and a half.

Don't count on it with winter parking rules.

Dinkytown has tons of free onstreet parking - I think I've only had to pay for parking for Gopher games 2-3 times this season. If you go to 6th or 7th street in the neighborhoods, you'll find something if you don't mind walking a few extra blocks. Be careful to watch the signs though - some sides you can only park on for snow emergencies.
If that doesn't work - there is a lot on 5th street and 13th Avenue - looks like a school parking lot, just down the street from The Library. Parking there on the weekends is $4 and you pre-pay when you go in.
