Major Applewhite makes a lot of sense to me.
Ed Donatell/Greg Robinson for DC perhaps.

another southerner who will quit to go home when the snow hits the sidelines? Why not get a northerner.

I've read mention of Greg Robinson several times now, but his defense at Syracuse was very bad. In 2008:
#83 in pass defense, #101 in rush defense, #101 in total defense & #101 in scoring defense.
I know Roof had a poor record at Duke and was able to help us improve, but Roof's Duke teams were improving defensively (if memory serves) whereas Robinson's Syracuse teams have been consistently bad.
I sure hope it isn't Robinson, but wouldn't be surprised given some of the commonalities between him and Brewster.

I've heard of Mike Grant. Rumor has it, if we get him, we may be in the running for his eldest son as well. I'm not getting my hopes up however.

I know you're being sarcastic, but is Craig Bohl really such an absurd thought?
