If Dungy was at men's figure skating, I am glad he was not wearing a Gophers hat.

Wearing the hat of your son's school is traitorous? If it was Wisky or Iowa ok. But a school we barely play in a conference 2 time zones away? Give me a break.

I always thought he was a traitor when he wore his Colts hat.

A good number of people on this board probably thought the same thing when he wore a Vikings hat.

For what it's worth, our coach was wearing Texas colors at the National Championship game (http://espn.go.com/blog/bigten/post/_/id/9102/gophers-brewster-on-dad-duty-tonight) to support his son as well. It's a nice gesture to support your kid, not treason. If it were Wisky or Iowa it would look really bad IMO, but things get complicated with your past and your kids sometimes. As an example, I'm sure Becky fans aren't thrilled that their coach has a Hawkeye tattoo. :)

I don't know about some of you, but this OP is really reaching the depths of the bowels to find things to complain about.

There is a huge difference between that and Dungy. Brewster is a sitting coach. An active coach should never wear opposing teams' colors for any reason whatsover (even more of a reason to hate Bielema).
Dungy is a private citizen and is not being paid by any school, nor is under any obligation to drum up support for his employer.
The way to make the Dungy situation analogous to the Brewster situation is if Dungy had been wearing a CBS, ABC, or FOX hat.

And what's wrong with men's skating? Not masculine enough for you? I'd like to see you do it.

On my list of most admired male athletes is Scott Hamilton. If you don't know why there is no hope for you. Speaking of feathers, I just saw Jesse Ventura on TV the other day.

That man could rock the feather boa with the best of them. And I don't know of too many people who would have wanted to tell him otherwise.
Were you watching his "Conspiracy Theory" show? It brings up interesting topics but they are way too dramatic. Sometimes its hard to make it through the whole show.

So you believe that Brewster should not support his son by wearing his sons schools colors when he goes to watch him play? Seriously?
So a school teacher who teaches at Wayzata shouldn't be allowed to wear an Eden Prairie t-shirt and colors if their child plays for EDP? I didn't realize it was that big a deal?

Didn't he die after falling from a dunk?
Don't be surprised. He didn't even plan on attending the U until Duffy retired.

These threads are pretty common. You should've seen the threads on the Fergus Falls Community College board when my dad was seen at my younger brothers game in Mankato gear...
