The best tv parent I can remeber is Marion Barber II.
When the Gophers played Alabama, Marion broke his Dad's touchdown (or perhaps yardage) record. Instead of being all over the TV, MB2 was nowehere to be found as he wanted all the attention on his son.
Refreshing, and not suprising yet very different than the usual pimping.
