according to Rivals.

Evan Williams of De La Salle visited the campus in Laramie, Wyoming this weekend and then gave his oral commitment to the Cowboys.

Reportedly he had offers from Minnesota, Wyoming and Northern Iowa. I suspect, however, the Gophers are no longer seeking a running back given the number that have committed; unless, of course there's a highly rated back that we don't know about that they're pursuing.

Go Gophers!!

Good for Williams. Nice to see a kid from DeLaSalle get an offer at an FBS school. Probably wouldn't fit given the already-committed recruits at Minnesota, but that doesn't mean he won't be good. Robinson has done well at Iowa State.

It's good to see schools recognising the need for Northern Speed other than Alabama (Ingram).

It would of been nice for Minnesota coaches to at least return one of Evan or his coach's phone calls the past two weeks, pretty bush league move and not good when that same school has one of the better juniors in the state.
