Upset alert! Cornell leading Kansas 49-43

2 bids for the Ivy League possible?

If Cornell finishes second behind Harvard in the Ivy League, and does so with no worse than a 12-2 record, I think the Ivy League could have a fighting chance at 2 bids. Cornell's resume could end up being good enough to warrant an at-large bid, if a few of the decent (read: potential top-100 type) teams they've beat go on to respectable seasons.

The Big Red to this point has enough decent wins (@ Alabama, @ St. John's, @ LaSalle among others) and a plenty tough enough nonconference schedule (only losses are to Kansas, Syracuse & Seton Hall) to be seriously considered by the selection committee. After seeing them on three different occasions this season, they certainly pass the "eye test" with me. It's a very good basketball team.

Multiple bids from the Ivy League? Never thought that could even be possible in this day & age. Long way to go, I know.
