The Hawk Never Dies lost at home to Princeton over the weekend. Yuck. The Hawks are now 4-8 with a RPI (#126) moving away from the top 100, not toward it. Would help if they knock off some of the A-10 big boys (Temple, Richmond, Dayton, Xavier, Rhode Island) during the A-10 season.

nobody

nobody we lost to is helping us at this point.

Portland = yuck.

Gopher losses

Portland gets Gonzaga in Portland this weekend. Would be nice to see a Pilots win.

Texas A&M is still holding the fort for us. But with their injury and the fact they're playing in the deepest league in the country, the Aggies have their work cut out for them. I still think if we end up just shy of making the NCAAs, this is the game that will cost the Gophers the most.

Miami's about the softest and most unproven 13-1 team in the country. They may end up being OK, but they've played more cucpackes than we have. Beating us and a decent South Carolina team, that's all they've done. They lost their only ACC game so far. Their nonconference schedule is a joke.

Still confident Butler will be a good win at the end of the season. Hopefully they cruise through the Horizon with no more than 2-3 losses. @ Wright State later this week could be a tricky one for the Bulldogs.
