Chanse Creekmur, a 6-foot-7 senior forward from Marshalltown, is back on Minnesota's scouting radar. Creekmur was expected to receive a scholarship offer from Minnesota after his strong play this summer. However, he surprised some observers by committing to Santa Clara days later. Minnesota associate head coach Ron Jirsa recently watched Creekmur, who re-opened his recruitment, score 30 points.

Chanse Creekmur committed to Santa Clara in July, but didn't sign in the early signing period. He is also a standout quarterback and according to AAU coach Marquise Watts, he decided to wait before making his college decision and explore the possibility of playing both sports. The main issue is if he were to play both sports in college, he would have to sign a football scholarship.

Go Gophers!!

Is he a good enough QB to start for the Gophers? If so, get him a football scholarship and let him walk on to the basketball team. I heard that the football team was looking for someone.
