When a player sits down and has a row of hats in front of him, then picks his college, do you think it helps or hurts a college if the player doesn't pick their hat?

Obviously, it helps more when the top recruits pick you. But to make it to the top 3-4 for All-American players is good PR even if you're not picked.

If you're a big name school constantly being on the table not getting commits? Looks bad.

If you're a mediocre school with your hat on the table at all? It helps.
