Surprised by the news about Royce

I have known Royce White for a while. I would go and watch him play when he was with the Howard Pulley AAU program. I am saddened that he has decided to leave basketball.

I hope for the best for Royce White.

How can you miss something you never had? Life goes on and so does hoops at the UM. Tubby took a reach on the kid with a checkered background and it didn't work due to a bad choice(es). The team will be better off without the distraction.
