According to the LVSC (Las Vegas Sports Consultants, the guys who set the lines), the Twins have the best shot to win the World Series of teams in the Central.
American League Central teams' odds to win the 2009 World Series:
Twins - 16-1
Indians - 25-1
Tigers - 30-1
White Sox - 30-1
Royals - 125-1
Interesting. I wonder how much this will change if there are more changes in this offseason.

Interesting, Ogee. The only reason that I can think of for Vegas to put those odds up are because maybe the Twins are expected to be a pretty darn good team with a very strong pitching staff. Hmmmmmmmmm.

No one in the division has done Jack Sxxx to improve themselves in the division (except maybe Cleveland's bullpen).

Cleveland has made two decent moves (trading for DeRosa and signing Wood) and many see dumping Javier Vazquez and Nick Swisher as addition by subtraction. I think it is safe to assume that Vegas is not very high on the AL Central.

Really wish we would have gotten Derosa, the guy has a good bat (.289 BA and 21 homers) and very versatile defense. I hope Liriano can regain his form from a few years ago. I think Baker and the other young guys can step up. Man it would be nice to have Garza.
