they cant find the woman who accused Mabakwe ?
To me the question for Sid is who 'they' are.
If 'they' are the defense lawyers, that's one thing.
If the prosecution can't find her, that's quite another.

In other developments surrounding Mbakwe's case, his lawyer has also had trouble tracking down the alleged victim to secure her testimony.
From court docs: "The alleged victim ... was attempted to be served on this Tuesday, November 10, and the undersigned was informed by his process server that [the alleged victim] no longer lived at that apartment. ... The process server also went to the apartment complex offices and it was confirmed by the offices that [the alleged victim] has moved from this address. ...
Samms requested the state's assistance in tracking down the central person in Mbakwe's case.

I am just not sure that the state has to help the defense meet with the alleged victim before trial.
BTW I just finished reading the 'we need Royce' thread - and I can't believe I read the whole thing.
Like you I am no internet lawyer - but it was entertaining - somewhat.

Tubby was pretty chipper considering how the weekend went.

Sid can't find his way out of his office.
I live near Sid and I see him once in a while at the neighborhood gas station. A couple months ago I saw him take a left out of the station, without bothering to look for traffic coming from his right. Lucky for Sid the driver of the oncoming delivery truck wasn't also 89 years old!
Sid and his Caddilac survived unscratched and Sid never even noticed.

If true that is good for Trevor. With out the prosecution star witness there case kinda goes down the drain.
But then again it's from Sid so who knows.

Not sure this is good at all. Depends on why they can't find her. If she turns out dead, this would be a very bad development. If she has been intimidated or threatened into not testifying, this would also be bad.
I'd rather Trevor be cleared on facts, not because witness can't be found.

Sorry I meant they just simply couldn't find her. Not dead not intimidated or threatened. She just dissapeared.
